Pressure Relief Valves are necessary to protect equipment from damage and protect operators from hazards due to excessive pressure. The Pressure Relief Valve should be installed in a tee in the discharge line from the pump as close to the pump as possible. The PRV must be set to bypass at a pressure low enough to protect the weakest point in the system. The outlet of the PRV should be piped back to the supply tank, pump suction, or a drain. All V-5, V-10, and V-10-H pumps are supplied with a PRV for each head.
Pressure relief valves (2 port).
Pressure relief valves, plastic flanged connection.
Pressure relief valves, threaded companion flange connection.
Pressure relief valves, welded flanged connection.
Pressure relief valves, high pressure connection (350 PSIG).
Pressure relief valves, FNPT threaded connection.
Pressure relief valves, high temperature connection (300°F).
Tri-Purpose Valve provides back pressure for accurate metering of fluids into low or open discharge pressure, anti-siphon protection when metering fluids into negative pressure, or pressure relief adjustable between 30 & 125 psi.
